A partir del 16 de enero de 2023, ha entrado en vigor el Real Decreto 993/2022, de 29 de noviembre, por el que adoptan nuevos controles SOIVRE para la importación de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos (RII-AEE), pilas y acumuladores (RII-PYA) procedentes de terceros países en aduanas. Todos los importadores y vendedores a través de la red de productos eléctricos y electrónicos, si van a ser comercializados en España, deben registrar un RII-AEE en el Ministerio de Industria, caso contrario los productos y contenedores serán retenidos en aduanas.

¿Qué es RII AEE y RII PYA?

El Registro Integrado Industrial (RII) es un registro de carácter informativo y de ámbito estatal, adscrito al MINECO y responde a los requerimientos de la Directiva 2012/19/UE, de 4 de Julio de 2012, sobre residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos, en la que se mantiene el registro estatal en cada uno de los Estados miembros.

RII-AEE es la inscripción en el Registro Integrado Industrial de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos, según el Real Decreto 110/2015, de 20 de febrero, sobre residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos. Todos los productores (fabricantes, importadores y venderores online) de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos (AEE) o sus representantes deberán estar inscritos en el Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo para poder comercializar sus productos en España.

RII-PYA es la inscripción en el Registro Integrado Industrial de Pilas y Acumuladores, según el Real Decreto 710/2015, de 24 de Julio, sobre pilas y acumuladores y la gestión ambiental de sus residuos.
